Loving God, Loving Others, Living New in Christ

Who We Are

Here’s the deal, New Beginnings cares about one thing more than anything else, Jesus Christ.  New Beginnings is a family of individuals that have found hope in Jesus, and simply want as many people as possible to experience that exact same freedom.

Where We Come From

New Beginnings started in 1992 as a small Bible study group in a living room.  These meetings were formed out a group of people in the Newark region who were looking to encourage one another and build a community where people can experience a second chance in life.

Where We’re Headed

What’s the bottom line?  More than ever, New Beginnings is committed to fostering family built around hope.  Hope for the future.  Hope for better.  Hope for change.  Hope in Jesus.  And as we move forward as a church; Jesus, family, and a second chance remain at the center of who we are as followers of Jesus.

What This Means For You

What does this mean for you?  Most importantly, you’re always welcome at New Beginnings.  We’re saving a seat for you.  Wherever you’re at in your faith journey, you’ll be welcomed as part of the New Beginnings family.

 Our Values

Jesus Centered…

We center our lives on Jesus through praise and worship, serving others, and giving of our time and treasures for the building of His kingdom here on earth.  We recognize we are Jesus’ ambassadors in this world, so we must live in a manner to reflect his very nature of loving the Father and loving those in this world.

Family Focused…

As members of God’s holy family, it is our responsibility to become a multi-generational, multi-cultural church focused on loving, growing, and protecting our unity in Christ through the bonds of peace.  Ultimately, building God’s Holy Kingdom and His family here on earth.
